first i was 1 year with that, and then 3 years with hemo. NOW i’ve a kidney that my mom gave me since 2001.

the doctor lied to her. I was on PD for three years before I got a transplant.

And you find this better?? Well i havent tried this kinda dialysis before so all i know is Hemo. I would proberly forget to do it everyday, Do u still have to have a fluid restriction with that?? Also ive heard in women its harder to get pregnant even after a transplant.

Tell that to the lady can no longer have a transplant and no she has no immune system disease she got her kidney failure due to High blood pressure, Doc told her that cos of this kinda of dialysis she will no longer be able to have a transplant, Mayb its a one off but thats what they said

PD does not …
PD does not decrease your kidney transplantation chances. The young individual you are reffering to must have other medical conditon that limit her chances, maybe immune disorder that attacks kidneys, etc.. People on PD have sex just fine, catheter is tucked away on special adhesive bandage.
