What is this pain under my left rib cage?

It doesn’t happen all the time, but lately i have been having this sharp pain under my left ribcage. It only happens when I’m having sex but then continues to hurt after sex. I have never had this pain before when me and my husband had sex. It started about 2 weeks ago.
